We are tired but enjoyed the experience of Lithuania very much,Labai Malonu.
Thank you Gabriele and staff for tour imput and kindness in planning our private Lithuanian trip for the Totas Family.
The accomadations were fine, the food memorable, and the memories priceless.
We were extremely blessed to have Giedre Tarvydate as our guide and driver in Lithuania. She is knowledgeable, enthusastic, very kind and a superb driver. She is Lithuania, she is what made our trip special.
Traveling with a five year old child overseas is not an easy task but Giedre made it pleasant, including our granddaughter
everyday with face to face interaction, a surprise gift or place to visit, like Kukomuico. She even brought her own daughters scooter with her on daily trips so our Granddaughter,Persia could have some"kid" fun at days end.Giedre also took a personal
piece of amber with her on a Baltic beach walk in Nida to pretend she found it with Persia. Her kindness and thoughtfulness goes
on and on. Mention a place or event in conversation and she made it happen, like providing us with a Lithuanian tradition anniversary cake on our anniversary and making our visit to ancestral town,Vatusiu very special.
THANK YOU ALL for making this a once in a lifetime trip, acio, acio for giving us Giedre to make it memorable.

Hi Simona,

I`d like to express my gratitude in all the work that you did for our trip. We had a wonderful time and plan on returning again as soon as finances permit. My mother especially enjoyed herself and learned a lot about her heritage which she had no knowledge of prior to our trip.
Our flights were good. The extra day we had to relax upon our arrival was well worth it. I enjoyed a massage from Diana at the Narutis and she was one of the best masseuses that I have had. I highly recommend the spa services. The pool and the surroundings were meticulously clean and lovely.
The hotels were great – thoroughly enjoyed them. Clean and friendly with exceptional breakfast buffets.
Our guide, Marius Galadauskas, was wonderful. He took special care of my mother and I appreciate that so much. He was very knowledgeable about the places we went to and those areas that we passed through and he was flexible in complying with our unexpected wishes. I highly recommend him. One regret is that I didn’t get his mother’s recipe for potatoes with butter/sour cream – I am certain that it must be delicious!! (...)

All in all we had a truly wonderful trip. Again, thank you for all your help and the books for our reading on Lithuania. I hope to do business with you again in the future.

Hi Simona

the trip was great and everything I hoped it would be(...)

Petras was amazing with his knowledge and the way he easily shared it - I don't know that I will remember a lot of the facts but it certainly helped to put everything in to a line - I wondered if he (Petras) has ever thought of producing a small time line showing the main dates of invasions/ occupations - I would have found that most helpful to have so that I could see the line of the years as well as here the stories - then I could refer to it as the tour went on.
I did appreciate having an individual guide so I could ask questions whenever they came to me (...)

I don't think we went to any places that I did not enjoy - if I was unsure at the start as to whether I would enjoy it or not, the knowledge that Petras had about a place certainly made it interesting.
The highlights for me would have to be my family things - meeting Rita at Akmene and the cemetery there, and going to the synagogue and meeting the rabbi - the other tourist places were great to visit and I now have a greater understanding and knowledge of all of Lithuania which I wouldn't have had if I had come by myself and tried to travel around - I realise now that it would have been impossible

I would like to sincerely thank you for the work you have done to make this possible for me, and also of course my grateful thanks to Petras - it can not be easy escorting an older person around but his enthusiasm and love of his country certainly showed through.

I think that is about all I can say

Regards Shona

Hi Simona

..Our trip in Lithuania was fantastic. We both enjoyed it very much and do not know if or how it could be improved. We were lucky that there was only the two of us on our tour and appreciated Petras taking us for walks in the forest and national parks. It was great that he adapted our tour to suit our interests. We saw so much and loved Lithuania.

Thank you for organising such a wonderful trip

Dear Simona,

We returned home last night from our wonderful trip. We want to thank you for organizing everything for us. Nissen and I were very impressed with all the small details that you attended to.

Perhaps we were spoilt with Rita and Leonardis being so professional and knowledgeable (...)

It was lovely to meet you Simona and thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

Best Regards,

Dear Simona,

Thank you for a most enjoyable visit to your beautiful country.

My husband and I are both very pleased with all of our interactions with you and with our guide, Richard.

We felt very safe and well cared for as we journeyed thru history. It was really something!

The events for the festival were very enjoyable (..)

My husband was impressed by Richard's abilities, knowledge and attentiveness. It gave him cause to be relaxed and enjoy our trip into the `unknown`!

Our accommodations were all that I had asked for; namely, clean, safe and comfortable. The staff was always most helpful too. Our itinerary was fulfilled.

I thank Richard for listening to and honoring my sideline requests. I am also very happy with the fact that with Richard's help I was able to actually find a book on Kazys Simonis with pictures of his art work (I think that I will probably end up giving it to his grandaughter). Also, Richard took us to the post office where we were able to see his (mural?) art work high up on the wall there. Tho, sadly none of the personnel who worked there seemed to be aware of what they had there. Hopefully now they will appreciate it more!

You live in a beautiful country and I pray that all of you be safe for many many years to come.

Su Deivo

Dear Simona;

.. We had such a great time visiting your wonderful country. All of the people were very nice and helpful and the sites beautiful. We were especially pleased and impressed with Gintas. He went above and beyond to make sure we were able to see as much as we could. He was also very knowledgeable about the sites, the history and the people. We could not have asked for more or anyone better. Our only disappointment was that he had other accommodations while we were on the road which usually meant we could not share our evening meal with him and learn more about Lithuanian culture.

The roots tour to Liepakojai was also a promising experience. Ausra Maiziesiene is a very special delightful person. We all thought so much of her. She showed us a small cultural museum she maintains in her school. She could not contact the woman by phone who was to show us the church that our grandparents probably attended. She then walked us over to the church & still could not find her so she took a bicycle and rode to the woman's home. We finally did get into the church. I gave Ausra my address etc. & she gave me hers. She was going to do more research of the church records and contact me..().

Speaking of food!!! It was wonderful; especially the tour group meals. All of the restaurants were great but I think I liked the goulash and buckwheat bread we had in Dzukija. Sorry you were not there to enjoy them as well.

All was much more and fulfilling than we ever could have imagined.

Dear Simona,

We returned safe and with very good impressions back home from our trip to the Baltic countries. Your organization has worked perfect and we also had a good guide with `Petras Staselis`(...)

We will recommend you and your organization to our friends.

With best regards

Thank you Gediminas Sukutis and Visit Lithuania for helping me plan the perfect trip to the Baltic's. Lithuania is a country that should be explored..the Curonian split, the cold war museum, the Hill of Crosses...should not be missed. Gediminas made excellent hotel choices. They were an excellent value at a location close to everything we wanted to explore. He hired knowledgeable local guides so we could ask hundreds of questions about the amber museum and the hill of witches. Most importantly, he was a charming host. We were privileged to have Gediminas accompany us on this wonderful journey. Thank you for everything.
