Safety
Information
If
you are planning to travel from our airports over the
next few days, we would like to assure you that
airports, in full co-operation with the Government,
the airlines and all our other business partners are
going to great lengths to ensure your safety.
Safety and security are always our highest priority.
Since the terrorist attacks on 11 September, we have
confiscated literally hundreds of thousands of items
which are no longer permitted in hand luggage and we
outline below some 'packing tips' to help your journey
run smoothly.
Before departing for the airport please check your
flight is on time and confirm what time your airline
requires you to check-in. To ensure you have plenty of
time to clear the additional security procedures they
may ask you to arrive a little earlier. As a general
guideline, plan to arrive at the airport two hours
prior to scheduled departure for flights. |
