Le Meridien Villon Resort, Lithuania currently offers the leading Conference
& Incentive venue in the Baltic States, providing meeting facilities for up
to 3000 delegates and extensive sporting and leisure activities. The Convention
Centre opened in February 2004 and is designed to cater to the growing
international conference demand in Lithuania. Located at the exact centre of
Europe, Lithuania's historical capital Vilnius is emerging as a key destination
due in part to the country's integration into the European Union and NATO on the
1st May 2004. As the gateway city for trade between Western Europe and Russia,
Lithuania is fast becoming a key-trading partner linking these economic regions.
The Convention Centre covers an area of 5,000 square metres, consisting of 34
meeting rooms, including the Grand Opera Hall suitable for up to 1,000
delegates, a library, a dedicated reception area, a business centre and a
restaurant with terrace overlooking the Villon lake and forest.
The centre has been carefully thought out and architecturally designed to meet
the needs and demands of conference organisers eager to stage world class
events, while at the same considering the comfort and elegance delegates expect
from the Le Meridien name. The aim is to provide the maximum amount of ease,
efficiency and comfort in both living and working space.
