Žaliūkių Village Miller’s Farmstead is an accent of rural landscape and a centre for traditional folk values fostering. The most important object of the Farmstead – Žaliūkių Windmill – reflecting traditional Lithuanian wooden architecture of the second part of 19th century; the first museum, revealing the history of grain processing in Lithuania. Constructions of the Windmill and its technological equipment – a meaningful heritage, revealing the solutions made by local masters of engineering. Every visitor is welcomed by the miller who introduces the unique mechanism inside the mill and grain milling processes.
