“Slėnis” is a leisure and business center surrounded by nature and located in a historical site – on Galvė lake strand. It offers a stunning view to the Trakai castle, Užutrakis manor and little islands scattered all over the stretches of the lake. You will be fascinated by the beautiful views from the coffee bar terrace or the sandy strand while wading in the lake at sunset with pine-trees sighing in the wind.
On the other strand - Užutrakis manor with its neoclassical manor house built at the end of the XIX century and the park projected by Eduard Andre, which is spectacularly suffused by the light of the setting sun. Simply turn to the other side and your eyes will be captivated by the Gothic castle on the Trakai Island. It was almost completely destroyed. Now, however, the castle has been reconstructed and is one of the most popular objects visited by tourists; it takes in different festivals, a hunting museum, archeological and historical expositions are open. Fancy the idea that from “Slėnis” you can take a steamboat and let yourself be drifted by the waves until you reach these remarkable architectural monuments. You will be able to take a walk along dukes’ and earls’ alleys.
“Slėnis” is a leisure and entertainment oasis, which will captivate not only the ones that love Lithuanian historical past with its majestic buildings but also nature lovers that will listen to the stories of the sighing pine-trees or waves that keep trying to reach the strand. Everyone will find something to do here. If you don’t want to stay in one place, we can offer bicycles, boats, roller skates, pedal boats. Children will be able to enjoy themselves going straight into the lake by the water slide. If you are looking for more adventurous sports, we can give you a ride in a hot air balloon so that you can have a look at the stretches of Trakai from the skies. Those who prefer serenity will be able to listen to the swash of the waves while sailing a yacht or watch nature while horse riding.

After arriving to the camping you can either stay in tents or cabins and use hot water in camping showers, modern toilets that comply with all requirements, guests are protected by nighttime security, you’ll also be able to have access to electricity power and use a tidy beach in the camping area.

Entertainment:
“Slėnis” has two coffee bars – the grand coffee bar and the cellar bar. We also offer vapor sauna, sauna with water tub, water slide, bathing under an illuminated waterfall. Those who like active entertainment can rent bicycles, pedal boats, boats and in wintertime – skates, skis, sledges. We collaborate with the neighboring horse stud, yacht, hot air balloon and steamboat owners so that we could help you travel around Trakai region in unconventional ways.
Only from 30 metres from ”Slėnis” strand there is an underwater sculpture museum. In 2001 six oak sculptures were submerged in Galvė Lake in Trakai and that was what started this unique sculpture park, where you can sit down on a bench and observe the fish pass by. While visiting the underwater park experienced divers challenge themselves trying to find antique style busts that stood in Užutrakis manor park until World War II and now only the empty postaments remind us that they were ever there. It is believed that after the war these buss were hidden in Galvė lake so that nobody could find and destroy them. Nobody has ever managed to find them but we still believe that someone eventually will – perhaps it will be you?
