According to historic documents, during the rule of Friedrich III, on June 19-29, 1692 this place received official permission given by the citizens to be called Friedrich town (Friedrichsstadt).

Here you might find yourself asking a question, “Is this really Lithuania?” Once you enter this cozy courtyard, you will feel as if you are on a small street in a Western European city, ready to sit down and relax, to try freshly prepared fish, to sip wine or coffee.
