One of the greatest and most cheerful dances is Salsa, sometimes even called “the princess” of Latin American dances. This simple dance was influented by many other Latin American and Afro - caribian dances (cha cha cha, son cubano, guajira, mambo). Salsa’s birthplace is Cuba. In 1930’s emigrants from Cuba made salsa popular among NewYorkers, and later on, among whole America and the world. Salsa became the symbol of freedom in Latin America.Every Thursday at 22.00 dance professional Jurgita Liaugaudaite teaches salsa in "Pabo Latino" for both - beginners and intermediates. Lessons are for free. Every Wednesday is intended for traditional Latin American dances: salsa, cumbia, cha cha cha, rumba, merengue, bachata, tango and ect. The basic of Latin American dances can be learnt in 3 months. This also depends on your personal qualities, inspiration and devotion for feelings. |
