The city's hottest dance club, expect a loud, proud, beautiful crowd of young trendies queuing up to shake their tails from Thursday to Sunday. It's pretty pricey for Lithuania but you're paying for quality: a London-chic interior of stylish leather and carpeting, colourful lighting, and powerful drinks expertly poured by some rather handsome barmen. Name international DJs are known to appear, though the cool cats of Vilnius are too bothered with their own credibility to care that much about outsiders.
GRAVITY opened its doors on the 6th of December 2001. Being one of the first proper dance music clubs in Vilnius, Lithuania, back then, it has held its reputation throughout the years. GRAVITY has opened its dancefloor to house, techno, drum’n’bass, electro, hip hop, minimal, IDM, dubstep and many other subgenres of electronic dance music, not concentrating on styles but being open to proper dance music in general.
Some of the artists that have performed in GRAVITY are Coldcut, Ian Pooley, Ivan Smagghe, James De La Cruz (The Avalanches), Jazzanova, Lexicon Avenue, Mr. C (The Shamen), Nightmares On Wax, Phill Hartnoll (Orbital), Swayzak, Tiefschwarz, X-Press-2, Jori Hulkkonen, Damian Lazarus, Monolake, Ewan Pearson, Darren Price (Underworld), Freestylers, Black Strobe, Andy Smith (Portishead), Krafty Kuts, Mira Calix, Marshall Jefferson, 16B, G-Pal, Peace Division, John Creamer, Chicken Lips, Phonique, Mo‘Horizons, Barry Gilbey, Desyn Masiello, Ralph Myerz, Funkstorung, A Skillz, Two Lone Swordsmen, Future Funk Squad, James Zabiela, Joakim, Stanton Warriors, Adam Freeland, Way Out West, Lee Burridge, Kevin Yost, Adam F, Evil Nine, Apparat, LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad, Ursula1000, Plaid, Kiki & Silversurfer, London Elektricity, Dirty Vegas, Terry Francis, The Herbaliser, Fabio, My My, SCSI-9, Goldie, Ladytron DJs, Food, Optimo, Superpitcher, Krust & MC Dynamite, Vladislav Delay, Stereo MC’s, Alter Ego, Peter Hook (New Order)
