Arrival in Vilnius. Day to explore Historic Vilnius. Tour of Historical Old Town of Vilnius: Vilnius Cathedral and its square, Gediminas Castle, the University campus, Pilies street with the 16-18th century historical and architectural monuments, Gothic corner of Vilnius with St Anne's and Bernardine churches. St, Anne's Church, according to the Napoleon, is most outstanding and fragile church, which should stand in Paris. He said that if he could he would put it on his hand and transfer to France. After excursion around historic Vilnius, you will have some free time to discover Vilnius beauty on your own. Overnight in Vilnius.

Day in the tranquillity of past. Morning drive to Kaunas. First visit to the Old Town of Kaunas. You will visit main sights like: freedom avenue, St George's church, castle ruins, Theological seminary, the Town Hall Square, the Jesuit church, the Cathedral, the Church of Vytautas and the Perkunas House. Upon availibility visit to M.K. Čiurlionis Art Museum and Convent of Pažaislis – famous for its architecture and wonderworking icon of Virgin Mary. Later attending the pageant of Napoleon's army march. Late arrival to Vilnius. |
