Plunge Park is one of the most beautiful and richest parks in Lithuania. In the times of duke Mykolas Oginskas, the territory of the park was close to 70 hectares. With city growth the park territory was reduced and now encounters only 45 hectares. It is located in the northern part of the city. On the south, the park is bounded by beautiful Babrungo river.

One can find more than 20 kinds of local trees, but the most interesting are giant oak trees. The diameter of some of these trees reaches 1.5 m. Birches with 1m. diameter also leave great impression.

Ponds
In the times of Oginskiu, seven lakes system operated in the park. Almost every lake had its own name - Perkuno, Zaliasis (Green), Zieminis (Winter), Veidrodinis (Mirror), etc... Special water gates regulated the water level in the lakes.
