Druskininkai features mineral water used for treatment, moor mud procedures, air suitable for treatment,the Wellness Park, unique attractions and places to visit;
Neringa, with its shores washed by the waters of the Baltic Sea and the Curonian Lagoon, is exceptional with picturesque sand dunes, seashores and nature included in the list of heritage objects of UNESCO;
Palanga is unique because it was established on the shores of the Baltic Sea, where the air saturated with iodine complements the treatment qualities of mineral water and mud, helping to develop a full complex of healing factors widely applied for sanatorium treatment and wellness;
Anyksčiai and Ignalina resort areas are the centres of wellness, active leisure and tourism, fascinating visitors by the remarkable beauty of nature both in summer and in winter.
The book offers information on the geographic locations, history, and climate in the resorts and resort areas, about the places to visit, traditional cultural and sporting events, and natural treatment resources in a specific resort area or resort.
