Day 2

After the day in the modern capital of culture 2009 – Vilnius, drive to the tranquility of unspoiled nature & past. Visit to Dzukija National Park, located in Southern part of Lithuania, famous for its wild forests, mushrooms and berries, authentic villages and friendliness of local people.

Spend a day in the perfect Dzukija nature picking various mushrooms. Later, with full bags of mushrooms you will visit the ethnographic village. In the authentic farmstead you will learn how to cook soup of your picked mushrooms. For the main course together with the mistress of the house you will make the national Lithuanian dish – Zeppelins.
Later on a relaxing overnight stay in charming spa town Druskininkai. Enjoy yourself in spa or water amusement park.

Day 3

Morning visit to Grutas Park – an outdoor museum of notorious Soviet political figures. To the date, no other museum or cultural institution has endeavoured to collect or duly exhibit Soviet relics. In Grutas Park, monumental sculptures are positioned in a 2 km-long exposition, where guard towers, fragments of concentration camps and other details resemble Siberia. The park keeps young visitors busy as well. Children can enjoy the swings at the playground (the Soviet times Lunapark) and find it interesting to imagine how and what kind of games their parents and grandparents used to play. Young visitors are also amused by the inhabitants of the mini-zoo located in the park – featuring birds and animals.

After the impressive visit in the Park, drive back to the Vilnius international airport. Departure home.
