Representational information

Palanga International Airport is a small regional airport located in the west part of Lithuania, near the Baltic Sea. Airport infrastructure allows to handle the aircraft of medium and small sizes: BOEING - 737, SAAB-2000, SAAB-340, Dash Q400, CRJ 200, Jetstream-32, ATR-42, YK-42 end so on. Since 1993 number of passengers has been increasing annually. After the Lithuania becomes a member of EU the amount of handled passengers in 2004 increased more than 60 % in comparison with 2003.
Over 200 employees are engaged in the airport facilities.

The regular flights are operated to Copenhagen (Denmark) and Riga (Latvia). Relating to good connecting flights from Palanga with SAS and airBaltic it is easy to reach a lot of other cities in Europe via Copenhagen and Riga.

You can arrive/leave the airport by private car, public transport, taxi, rented car or minibus of the Air Lithuania.

• By bus
The Bus from the Airport to Palanga and from Palanga to the Airport goes every hour.

• By taxi
Taxi parking is situated next to the airport terminal. The journey to the City of Palanga takes 10 min, price approx. 20 Lt (6 EUR). To/from Liepaja (Latvia) it will take approx. one hour and will cost about 200 Lt (60 EUR). Taxi tel.: (+370 46) 345 345 (Klaipeda), (+371 34) 22222 (Liepaja).


• Minibus of the Air Lithuania
To its passengers Air Lithuania offers free link by minibus between Klaipeda and Palanga Airport.

• By rented car
On arrival at the airport by rented car, you may leave it in the parking lot and leave the keys as well as documents in the Airport Cafe or in the Customer Service Department, first floor of the Passenger Terminal. Please notify the rental office agent before leaving the car. You can also rent a car at the airport for your further travel.


• By private car
Passengers arriving in a private car may leave it at the airport long-term parking lot (scheme). You should pay for parking to the parking attendant at the moment of leaving the car. Detailed information by phone (+370 460) 51392
