Vilnius Congress Concert Hall is not only a decorative facade of starlit night in the heart of the capital; from 1999’s it is home of Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra (artistic director and chief conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius) as well.

At the time this monumental multifunctional building serves as a concert hall of Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and as one of the prime centers spreading classical and popular music.
Concerts of symphonic and chamber music, operas are being performed here; world famous stars and national artists are being applauded by listeners from a hall of a thousand seats. Vilnius Congress Concert Hall has witnessed great performances by Violeta Urmana, Sergej Larin, Sergej Leiferkus etc. The place is also well known for a wonderful scene of various jazz and popular music projects. International festival of contemporary music “Gaida” is annually starting at Vilnius Congress Concert Hall. And, off course, during concert season of 2006 – 2007 y. more than 20 000 viewers had applauded for hit of today’s opera world – G. Puccini’s “La Boheme”.
