Baltic countries are easy to access today. The largest airport in the Baltics Riga's airport serves more than 4 million passengers a year.
Airport of Tallinn was the first to start efficient growth in early 2000 and now is well established airport with many flights to major European cities. Apart from the airport, Tallinn is the most successful seaport with abundant cruises and ferry lines. If you are planning your trip from Scandinavia consider a ferry option.
Lithuania distinguishes by having 3 international airports. Vilnius International Airport in Lithuania boasts the largest variety of destinations while Kaunas airport is mostly inhabited by Ryanair, and the smallest Palanga International Airport has a more narrow network of flights.

Vilnius is a modern and rapidly developing European city. After Lithuania’s accession to the European Union, its cultural and economic relations with foreign countries are extending, therefore the number of tourists coming to Vilnius is on the increase.
Guests are attracted by a favourable geographical position of Lithuania too, the so-called crossroads between the East and the West. It is in Lithuania, about 20 kilometres north of Vilnius, that the geographical centre of Europe lies.

Vilnius is a great place for pleasant strolls. It is green, full of cultural diversity and cozily compact. So compact, that in just a few dozen steps from the gallery, you find yourself in a park, followed by a baroque church, and off to the castle after a cup at the local cafe. Thus, in a short time you get to not just see, but also hear, touch, taste and tune into the soul of the city.
